Welcome to St Peter’s Catholic Primary School.

We are proud to be a high-performing small Catholic school, located in the beautiful Regency town of Royal Leamington Spa. St Peter’s is a school with a unique character and identity. With just over 100 pupils, highly skilled and dedicated staff, a historic and characterful building and a supportive parent and parish community, we are a welcoming, nurturing St Peter’s family where every child is known and valued.

For families of all faiths and none, we believe that Catholic education offers a distinctive and enriching experience for all children that prepares them for their lives ahead. Guided by our mission to place Jesus at the heart of everything that we do, we seek to nurture each child’s individual gifts and talents while developing the values, character and skills needed to “have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10).

At St Peter’s, our passion is for the education of the whole child. We are committed to the highest standards of academic excellence, enabling every pupil to reach their full potential, whatever that may look like for them, while nurturing their personal, spiritual, social and moral formation and development. We believe education is about more than what children know; it is about who they become.

Our pupils leave the St Peter’s family in Year 6 as well-rounded, confident and compassionate individuals, with integrity and courage, alongside a love of learning and a desire to explore the world around them. This means they are well prepared for the next stage of their education. We achieve this through our ambitious and bespoke curriculum, our focus on values and faith in action, exemplary behaviour, a strong culture of inclusion, individually tailored pastoral care, and a wide range of enrichment and extracurricular activities.

We are also very proud to be part of St Raphael the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust (CMAT), living out the Diocesan Mission to form Christ-centred pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge, and a hunger for justice. The CMAT provides our children and staff with opportunities to learn and grow, creating an environment in which everyone can thrive and benefit from the very best educational experiences.

As I am sure you will soon discover, St Peter’s is blessed with passionate staff, supportive parents, committed volunteers, an engaged Governing Body, a vibrant parish community, and strong partnerships across the St Raphael CMAT. Together, we share a common purpose: putting children first. We work collaboratively in the service of our school to do even more for our pupils, ensuring that every child is known, valued and supported to succeed.
