Little Fishers – Wraparound Care

At St Peter’s, we understand that family life is busy, and we want to make school life as supportive and flexible as possible for our families. Little Fishers is our wraparound care provision for children from Reception to Year 6, offering a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment before and after the school day.

Led by familiar members of our school team, Little Fishers is much more than childcare. It is an extension of the warm, caring community that makes St Peter’s such a special place to belong. Children have the opportunity to play, socialise, be active and enjoy a range of activities in a relaxed and supportive environment.

With flexible sessions and the ability to book as you go, Little Fishers is designed to fit around the needs of modern family life, while ensuring that children feel happy, secure and well cared for.

Why Little Fishers?

Our name reflects the story of St Peter, our patron saint. Peter was a fisherman before Jesus called him to follow Him and become a “fisher of people.” At St Peter’s, we want our children to grow in faith, confidence, kindness and compassion, discovering their gifts and learning how they can make a difference in the world.

“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
